Abstract

We are interested in the chaos of Reeb flows. We witness the chaos by finding a link consisting of periodic orbits of the Reeb flow. If we perturb the contact form, does the link (and therefore the chaos) survive? We start by investigating a baby case for geodesic flows that illustrates the idea of the process. We then turn towards Reeb flows and investigate the pseudoholomorphic curves that prove stability. This is joint work with Marcelo Alves, Matthias Meiwes and Abror Pirnapasov.
